daily reminders
- no human being is 100% happy 100% of the time
- being a person is extraordinarily difficult even in the best of times
- this is not the best of times
- someone is grateful you exist (don’t argue, it’s true)
- a bad day does not predict a bad existence
- it’s gonna be okay
Can you imagine the story potential of a character who is cursed to be happy 100% of the time?
Oh the possibilities!
Every tragedy, every inconvenience, every situation where a different emotional response would be normal, and they’re…just…happy about it?
Like they couldn’t even BE SAD ABOUT NEVER BEING ABLE TO NOT BE HAPPY!
This would be an amazing character, a massively tragic character who can NEVER PARTICIPATE IN THE TRAGEDY.
